Assam Police Sub-Inspector Syllabus 2022

Today we are going to discuss Assam Police SI Syllabus 2022 as the notice for appointment of Sub Inspector AB and UB (Armed Batch and Un-Armed Batch) of Assam Police has been published. Both male and female and transgender candidates can apply in both Assam Police SI armed and unarmed batches. In the case of Assam Police Sub-Inspector Armed Batch, notification has been issued for 320 seats and in the case of Assam Police Sub-Inspector Un-Armed Batch, notification has been issued for 306 seats.

Assam Police SI Selection Process

Assam Police Sub Inspector Armed Branch: Candidates for AP SI Armed Branch (AB) have to go through three stages to be selected for the post of Assam Police Sub Inspector 2022. The first stage is OMR based offline test, the second stage is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the last Psychometric Test.

Assam Police Sub Inspector Un-Armed Branch: Candidates for AP SI Un-armed Branch (UB) have to go through three stages to be selected for the post of Assam Police Sub Inspector 2022. The first stage is OMR based offline test, the second stage is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the last Viva-voice Test or Oral.

After OMR based offline test 5 times of candidates of each category of the vacancy will be called for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

The Assam Police SI Syllabus for the written examination of the Armed and Un-Armed Branch is the same but their final selection procedure is different.

Assam Police SI Exam Pattern

  • Assam Police SI 2022 exam pattern for both the Armed Branch and Un-armed Branch is an OMR based offline exam that consists of multiple-choice objective type questions.
  • Assam Police SI exam questions will be in Assamese, Bodo, Bengali and English.
  • Assam Police Sub Inspector examination has a total of 100 questions for 100 marks, i.e. the value of each question is 1 mark. Assam Police SI Syllabus 2022 is discussed in detail below.
  • The time allotted for the Assam Police SI 2022 exam is 3 hours (180 Minutes), where the objective type test of 100 marks has to be given.
  • There will be a negative marking in the Assam Police Sub Inspector Exam. ½ (half) mark will be deducted for every single incorrect answer, which means the ratio of negative marking is 2:1.

Age Limit: 20 years to 26 years as on 1st July 2021.
Educational Qualification: The candidate for Assam Police Sub Inspector 2022 must be a Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized University.
